Frankfurt (9 April 2020) – Today, MV Index Solutions GmbH (MVIS®) announced the licensing of the MVIS CryptoCompare Institutional Bitcoin Index (MVIBTC) to 3iQ Corp. for the Bitcoin Fund (ticker: QBTC/U CN). With MVIS’ index as underlying, 3iQ now offers a Bitcoin Fund listed on Toronto Stock Exchange in USD for Canadian investors. It was built to provide investors with a convenient, professionally constructed way to hold bitcoin as an asset in the traditional investment channel alongside equities, bonds and funds. 

The MVIS CryptoCompare Institutional Bitcoin Index is a rules based index, intended to give investors a means of tracking the performance of Bitcoin on selected top tier exchanges. These exchanges include Binance, Bitflyer, Bitstamp, Coinbase, Gemini, itBit and Kraken.
